Competitive pathway

Development Programme

Ages 7–12

A selective competitive pathway for ages 7–12, preparing selected players for local and international leagues and tournaments through technical, tactical and leadership development.

Development Programme — By Selection Only. This selective pathway prepares players for competitive leagues and tournaments locally and internationally. Players may enter through selection by the Head Coach based on their performance and development, or through an invitation to attend a Development Programme assessment after their initial F17 trial.

Joining Development is not guaranteed after a trial or assessment. The Head Coach considers the player’s current ability, readiness, attitude and overall suitability before offering a place.

Players cover the techniques required to play football with added tactical awareness and leadership training. League teams may be entered into suitable divisions locally or overseas so players experience both winning and losing—important ingredients in development.

For beginners: we recommend the Recreational Programme for ages 4–12, or the Youth Programme for ages 13–17. Players who demonstrate readiness may later be invited to a Development assessment where age-eligible.

League fees are not included in Development Programme training fees. Team allocation is decided by the coaches with approval from the Academy Director.

Koach App for Development players: Coaches use the separate Koach App to create and monitor each player’s Individual Action Plan (IAP), record observations, provide personalised feedback and track technical, tactical, physical and behavioural progress. The one-time S$100 Koach App fee applies only to Development and is included in its new-player starter package.
